Usher's Ex-Wife Tameka Foster Files for Custody of Sons

Tameka Foster isn't happy with ex-husband Usher following their firstborn son's scary pool accident. The 42-year-old celebrity stylist filed legal documents in Fulton County, Ga., asking for an emergency custody hearing on Tuesday, Aug. 6.

According to TMZ, Foster, 42, is demanding custody of their sons, Usher Raymond V, 5, and Naviyd Ely Raymond, 4. She claims that Usher, 34, who currently has primary custody, is allowing other unfit people to care for their children, thereby and creating an unsafe environment. (Usher filed for divorce from Foster in June 2009 after nearly two years of marriage. Since then, the two have had an ongoing, heated custody battle over their children.)

The filing comes one day after their son Usher was hospitalized after nearly drowning in the singer's pool on Aug. 5. TMZ reported that the little boy got his arm stuck in the drain while being watched by his aunt. After struggling to free his arm, he was given CPR and admitted to the intensive care unit. Usher was not home at the time, but arrived in time to ride in the ambulance with his son.

In July 2012, Foster's 11-year-old son Kile Glover, Usher's stepson, was fatally struck in the head by a jet ski. "I'm still in shock," Foster told Entertainment Tonight in September 2012. "I think this will probably be the greatest pain I will ever experience, losing him. But, it gave me strength beyond measure and it made me determined to fight for my other [children]."

Rihanna was in rare form while making an appearance at the Crop Over Festival in her native Barbados over the weekend. The 25-year-old, whose love of partying is almost as well known as her hit songs, attended the Foreday Morning Jam event, which started at 1 a.m. on Saturday morning. And let's just say her presence didn't go unnoticed.

 The "Unapologetic" songstress walked the streets of the festival in this interesting ensemble. Up top she had on a see-thru shirt with sequined detailing providing a little modesty. Down below, she was sporting what appeared to be a white bathing suit bottom. As far as accessories, she wore a veil (naturally!) and some bright blue shades which masked face paint.
While her outfit was out there, Rihanna was thoughtful with her footwear — Converse sneakers. It turned out to be a very smart decision because she was on all fours on the ground at one point twerking with her gal pals. Naturally, a crowd formed around her while she showed off her risqué moves.
We're not sure exactly what was in that red mug, but we're guessing it wasn't water.
Then on Monday, Chris Brown's ex posted some more shots that were taken over the weekend at the festival. While she looked much more pulled together — beautiful makeup! — she was actually wearing less. The look consisted of a beaded bikini (she had a lot of confidence in those beads!) and headpiece, feathers, and fishnets.

We can only imagine her packing her suitcase for the trip. Beaded bikini? Check. Feathered wings? Yep. Converse? Got 'em.

Despite a weekend of partying down, Rihanna seemed to honor her work engagements. Hours after she was pavement twerking, she told her fans that she had reported to the set for a beachside photo shoot.
"And on that note, glam starts NOW!!! New cover shoot today! I got a hustler spirit…"

What is it with the celebrity kids on your new movie, ‘Unconditional’?

We didn’t set out to use celebrity kids. I told everyone including you the age range I want and people suggested the kids. Aghahowa’s daughter has wanted to act since age 5, we auditioned Chigozie, and she did well and got a coach to coach them. 2face’s daughter is just a drama queen. And this movie, Unconditional is not all about them, Dakore, Ruth Kadiri and I acted in it. It’s the kind of move that will touch the heart.

If your husband were to be a serial philanderer like Desmond’s character in the movie, Lies Men Tell, what will you do?

I will castrate him, he knows and believes that. To me, there is no excuse to cheat, its either you are with someone or not, and if you are tired of the person, please accord the person decency of respect by saying it’s over. Do you believe what you are saying or are you saying it for the purpose of this interview?

I am saying,Uche Jombo-Rodrigues doesn’t have in-between. That is the reason it takes me long time to make a decision or take a stand on something, but when I do, that is it. There is no excuse not to honour an agreement you have made, this doesn’t have anything to do with this interview. It is the principle that guides me. It is not just about marriage, it’s how I conduct my relationships, its either it is this or that, if that is mymind-set in a relationship, you should know that for marriage it’ll be 150%. There is no room for cheating.

So you believe your husband will or should not cheat on you?
 
I don’t have control over what someone will do, I’m not God. I’m talking about me, how I conduct things. It’s not an option that it will happen, I will not tolerate cheating.

Are you saying you will not forgive the man who cheats on you and is manly enough to say I’m sorry?

If you are in that situation Sam, oh God! You are going to slave for me for life. And do you know any man that will want to slave for a woman for life, answer?

Is it true you are older than your husband and the man you dated before him?

I have never dated or married someone I was older than in my life. If you have the illusion of someone’s age, that is your business, and I am even too mature for my age. That is the problem, because men of my age are ‘small boys’ around me, I can’t date them. I am someone who has to become a mother to some of my siblings at the age of 14. Because you are an under-achiever does not mean I should play down on my achievement. If age is the yard stick for you to succeed, you should not judge people with it, I don’t have an apology. If I’m learning from people who are older than me that is because I don’t hang out with my age mates; I don’t think there is anything else you want to teach me, and if you want to judge me by the people I hang out with or by when I started my hustle, where the hell were you at that time? What really matters to me is that people who know me during my not-too-proud days are so proud that, this is me now. I have come far, it’s something I’m grateful for, and I couldn’t have even written it better if it were a story.

Comedian Basketmouth Shares Short Story of Himself

 Comedian Basketmouth has finally decided to share short stories about his experience with people while growing in the Nigerian entertainment industry in a series called ‘Before I Write a Book.’.

He plans to write a book eventually so this is a pre-entry to that project, thus, the title. Below is the first story he shares with us.

Back stage at the Rothmans Groove tour which held @ TBS in 1998, there I was seated with the likes of The Plantashun Boiz,Dr. Fresh,Remedies and more…I was just a young boy trying to weigh his options on what direction to go with his career as drumming,rapping,producing and comedy were few of my options.

That night was the 1st time I met Tony Tetuila, one of those humble guys you come by,he was warm and accommodating considering the obvious fact that I was nobody in the industry.

Fast forward a few months later, Comedy had won me over and in the course of my hustle and journey to where I’m yet to get to, I bumped into Tetuila in Festac, just about the time his single ‘you don hit my car’ came out.

We reconnected while playing catch up. We had common friends so ‘bumping’ into each other became a tradition.

The 1st time he saw me perform @ a concert was at a gig The Plantashun Boiz used to host @ the Den in Ikeja. I must have impressed him because not long after that night, I got a call from him asking that we meet up.

We did and he took me for a meeting in Lagos Island (Shell Office).
A director at Shell was retiring and a send-forth party was being held in his honour. My performance fee then was N10,000, Tony pushed it up and convinced the client to pay N30,000 which they paid cash.

Prior to this, they had never heard of me and only used me because Tony believed in me and stood up for me,convincing them to buy in.

I was paid in full a week to the show. After picking up the cash I went straight home. Now here I was, a young comic with his 1st major pay-out of N30,000.

Considering the fact that my 1st performance fee was N300 (1%) of what I had in my pocket,I couldn’t help but to thank God. I got home,gave my mum N25,000 and kept N5,000 from which I bought a shirt,pants and shoes from Tejuosho market to wear for the event.
