Usher's Ex-Wife Tameka Foster Files for Custody of Sons

Tameka Foster isn't happy with ex-husband Usher following their firstborn son's scary pool accident. The 42-year-old celebrity stylist filed legal documents in Fulton County, Ga., asking for an emergency custody hearing on Tuesday, Aug. 6.

According to TMZ, Foster, 42, is demanding custody of their sons, Usher Raymond V, 5, and Naviyd Ely Raymond, 4. She claims that Usher, 34, who currently has primary custody, is allowing other unfit people to care for their children, thereby and creating an unsafe environment. (Usher filed for divorce from Foster in June 2009 after nearly two years of marriage. Since then, the two have had an ongoing, heated custody battle over their children.)

The filing comes one day after their son Usher was hospitalized after nearly drowning in the singer's pool on Aug. 5. TMZ reported that the little boy got his arm stuck in the drain while being watched by his aunt. After struggling to free his arm, he was given CPR and admitted to the intensive care unit. Usher was not home at the time, but arrived in time to ride in the ambulance with his son.

In July 2012, Foster's 11-year-old son Kile Glover, Usher's stepson, was fatally struck in the head by a jet ski. "I'm still in shock," Foster told Entertainment Tonight in September 2012. "I think this will probably be the greatest pain I will ever experience, losing him. But, it gave me strength beyond measure and it made me determined to fight for my other [children]."

Rihanna was in rare form while making an appearance at the Crop Over Festival in her native Barbados over the weekend. The 25-year-old, whose love of partying is almost as well known as her hit songs, attended the Foreday Morning Jam event, which started at 1 a.m. on Saturday morning. And let's just say her presence didn't go unnoticed.

 The "Unapologetic" songstress walked the streets of the festival in this interesting ensemble. Up top she had on a see-thru shirt with sequined detailing providing a little modesty. Down below, she was sporting what appeared to be a white bathing suit bottom. As far as accessories, she wore a veil (naturally!) and some bright blue shades which masked face paint.
While her outfit was out there, Rihanna was thoughtful with her footwear — Converse sneakers. It turned out to be a very smart decision because she was on all fours on the ground at one point twerking with her gal pals. Naturally, a crowd formed around her while she showed off her risqué moves.
We're not sure exactly what was in that red mug, but we're guessing it wasn't water.
Then on Monday, Chris Brown's ex posted some more shots that were taken over the weekend at the festival. While she looked much more pulled together — beautiful makeup! — she was actually wearing less. The look consisted of a beaded bikini (she had a lot of confidence in those beads!) and headpiece, feathers, and fishnets.

We can only imagine her packing her suitcase for the trip. Beaded bikini? Check. Feathered wings? Yep. Converse? Got 'em.

Despite a weekend of partying down, Rihanna seemed to honor her work engagements. Hours after she was pavement twerking, she told her fans that she had reported to the set for a beachside photo shoot.

Wife Saves Husband From Suicide By Holding Onto His Boxers

A suicidal husband was saved after trying to leap from his bedroom window - when his wife grabbed him by his boxer shorts.

Witnesses say Ling Su clung on single handed for 20 minutes before police and firefighters arrived.
He was dangling from a six-storey apartment in Changchun, Jilin province, northern China.

The door to the apartment was locked, which stopped the emergency services reaching her quicker.
We heard a shout and screaming and there he was dangling from the window with his wife hanging onto his pants,' said one passer by.

'She got a stronger hold on his leg and screamed for help.
'We tried to get in to help her but the apartment was locked and we couldn't break down the door,'they added.

Neighbours peered through windows to get a better look at the spectacle.

Rescuers managed to pull 45-year-old Wang Li to safety, who is understood to have been depressed about lack of work.

Tinubu To Undergo Orthopedic Surgery

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the former Governor of Lagos State and a leading founder of the All Progressives Congress, has been absent from public engagements in the past few days because of health issues, the Tinubu Media Office has said.

“Based on previous sports injury on one of his knees and recent further aggravation on the knee from rigorous political and family related activities, he has been advised by his Doctors, despite his persistent reluctance that orthopedic surgery is necessary at this time,” the brief statement said today.

The surgery will take place this week, and Tinubu will resume normal political activities and public engagements once cleared by his doctors.

The statement did not say where the procedure will take place.

Ronaldo reportedly signs five-year deal with Real Madrid

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo, has reportedly penned a new five-year deal with the club, worth a massive £75million.

The Portugal captain has been linked with an emotional return to Manchester United this summer, but it appears he has now settled his issues with the Spanish giants and decided to stay.

According to reports, Ronaldo will earn around £900,000 more each season than Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi, making him the highest-paid player in Spain. He also reached an agreement with the club to increase his share of image rights, which was initially 60%

The 28-year-old struck the deal after a meeting with Florentino Perez in Los Angeles.

Man charged for rejoicing after bomb blast in Kano

Muhammad Yusuf, was on Friday, arraigned before the Sabon Gari Shari’a Court, for reportedly jubilating “in the presence of a large crowd”, after he came back from the scene of a recent bomb blast in Kano state.

Yusuf was charged with inciting and disturbing public peace.

Chairman of Gidan Boss Mechanics, Lawan Hassan, who reported the matter at the Fagge Divisional Police Station, accused Yusuf of celebrating openly, when he returned from the scene of two bomb blasts, in which 24 people died and many others were injured.

Pirates Beats Al Ahly 3-0 In African Champs League

Orlando Pirates produced a stunning upset when they thumped Egyptian giants Al Ahly 3-0 in their African Champions League clash on Sunday.

Al Ahly’s Cairo rivals Zamalek completed a bad day for Egyptian clubs by losing 1-0 to Congo’s AC Leopards in Dolisie in the other Group A match.

South African side Pirates scored through Thandani Ntshumayelo, Andile Jali and Sifiso Myeni while their goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa saved a penalty in the match, which was played in El Gouna because of the political unrest and security issues in Egypt.

Defending champions Al Ahly, seven times winners of the competition, had complained about both the venue and timing of the match , played in daylight hours during Ramadan when their players are fasting.

The Confederation of African Football (Caf) also ordered them to play in an empty stadium because of crowd trouble earlier in the competition.

Ntshumayelo opened the scoring for the visitors in the 12th minute before Meyiwa saved a spot-kick from Walid Soliman.

Ahly were reduced to 10 men in first half injury-time after striker Ahmed Abdul Zaher was sent off for a studs-up challenge on Pirates centre-back Rooi Mahamutsa on the edge of the area.

Jali doubled Pirates’ advantage from a penalty and Myeni added a third in a three-minute spell in the second half.

AC Leopards secured their win from the penalty spot with Kalema Ntela converting in the 37th minute after Zamalek defender Mahmoud Fathalla handled and was sent off for a second bookable offence.

Pirates lead the group on goal difference from Leopards with both clubs on four points, while Ahly and Zamalek have a point each.

NDLEA Discovers Abandoned Cocaine At Lagos Airport

Few weeks after officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) discovered 5.9kg of abandoned cocaine inside industrial equipment, another cocaine shipment has been abandoned at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos.

The cocaine which weighed 4.6kg was hidden inside flasks packed with baby items. Like the first consignment, it originated from Panama, Central America on board a KLM flight.

The Agency also arrested four suspected drug traffickers who were found with narcotics.

A total seizure of 12.455kg of cocaine with an estimated street value of N137 million was made. NDLEA chairman, Ahmadu Giade disclosed that the abandoned cocaine and other arrests have shown that drug traffickers are having difficulties bringing in their drugs into the country.

According to the NDLEA Airport commander, Mr Hamza Umar, the names of the four alleged suspects are Onwuegbuaku Okechukwu Anselm, 35, Ifediora Romanus Obunike, 26, Ohaebosun Nickolas, 28, and Nwabueze Emmanuel Kansiriyochukwu, 31.

A customary court in Igando, Lagos, Thursday, dissolved a nine-year-old marriage between Emmaunel Adegbola and his wife, Olufunke, on grounds of infidelity by the woman.

Olufunke, however, also accused her estranged husband of always raping her anytime she was not in the mood to make love.

The court President, Mr R. I. Adeyeri, said it appeared that the estranged couple was tired of the marriage and that efforts to reconcile both parties had failed.

“Since both parties consented to the dissolution of the marriage, the court has no choice than to dissolve the union.

“Both parties are no longer husband and wife, they are free to go their separate ways,”he said.

Adeyeri ruled that the issue of custody of their four children, aged between eight years and four years, including a set of twins, should be referred to the family court within the Lagos Judicial Division.

The court president also ordered the petitioner to pay N50,000 as rehabilitation cost to the respondent.

Adegbola, a 63-year-old businessman, had filed the suit on June 26, seeking dissolution of his nine-year-old marriage over infidelity on the part of the wife.

He told the court that his wife was having an affair and that the other man was always coming to his wife’s house whenever he (Adegbola) travelled out of Lagos on business.

“My wife was harbouring her concubine in the house I rented for her; anytime I went there unannounced, I always met the man. My wife was unable to give a satisfactory answer as to the man’s mission in my house.”

He also said that his wife started threatening his business by setting up shop in the same business, close to his business address and was diverting his customers to her shop.

“Initially, I told her that we should start a pure water business together, she told me she was not interested.

“But later, she opened her own pure water business without my consent, snatching all my customers. This is now affecting my own business,” he said.

He also said that his wife was no more cooking for him, as she would complain of tiredness, and “that I should go and cook for myself”.

In her response, response, Olufunke, 40, also a businesswoman, denied the allegations.

She told the court that the man her husband used to see in her house, was her brother and that she was not having an affair with any man.

She said that she was not threatening her husband’s business, and that she set up her own business because her husband was not paying her a salary, but was using her as a slave.

“My husband was only using me as a slave, he was not giving me money: he and his first wife were sharing the proceeds from the business,” she said.

Two human heads found in Onitsha hotel

 Two decomposing human heads were found in a hotel( names withheld) at Onitsha along Old market road by the Anambra State Police Command on Thursday. 

Following a tip off the police were said to have invaded and searched every rooms in the hotel and in the course of the search found the decomposing human heads in a room close to the office of the owner of the hotel. 

Also recovered were two AK47 riffles with loaded magazines and a military cap. Contacted about the military cap, the commander 302 Artillery Cantonment Onitsha, Col. T.A. Gagariga, said that the recovery of the Military regalia did not mean that the soldiers must have been involved as such regalia could be procured in the market. 

Also reacting, the Onitsha Police Area Commander, Mr. Benjamin Wordu confirmed the incident, adding that the suspect with the items recovered had been transferred to the Special Armed Rubbery Squad, SARS, Awkuzu, for further investigation. 

The State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr. Emeka Chukwuemeka when contacted also confirmed the story stating that Police are still investigating.

Ghana Police misses out, as Nigeria debuts at World Police Games

The Ghana Police Service will not be able to represent the country at the 2013 Biennial World Police and Fire Games scheduled to take place in Belfast, Northern Ireland whiles their Nigeria Police Force is to make its first appearance.

Nigeria's Force Spokesperson, Frank Mba, confirmed this on Wednesday that a 34-man contingent, made up of 28 athletes and six officials, led by the Force Planning Committee Chairman, CP Abimbola Macaulay, departed the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos, on Tuesday for Belfast.

“The Nigeria Police contingent arrived in Belfast on Wednesday ahead of the tournament starting on August 1st through 10th” Mba said in a statement.

The biennial World Police and Fire Games is an athletic competition open to police agencies throughout the world.

Athletes from 70 countries are expected at the 2013 Belfast Games and are expected to compete in 66 sporting events, including athletics, football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, combat sports like wrestling, judo and taekwondo.

“The Nigeria Police contingent will feature in eight events, namely -- athletics, badminton, boxing, cycling, golf, judo, table-tennis and taekwondo,” said Mba.

In his goodwill message to the contingent, according to Mba’s press statement, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Abubakar, charged them to be good ambassadors of not just the Nigeria Police, but the entire nation.

He enjoined them to conduct themselves creditably throughout their stay in Belfast, and further warned them to distance themselves from drugs, as any athlete caught doping will be dealt with accordingly.

The IGP reminded the contingent that the Nigeria Police athletes are not strangers to international sporting events, as some of them have represented Nigeria and made the country proud in similar games like the Commonwealth Games, the All Africa Games, and even the Olympics.

He challenged them to improve on the record of their predecessors by winning more laurels and assured the athletes of a befitting welfare package during the Games. He also promised to reward those who win medals for the force and the country.

The contingent is expected back in the country on August 1.

The plan by a band of terrorists who relocated to Niger Republic to remobilise and re-arm insurgents with the aim of carrying out fresh terrorists attacks on some Nigerian communities has been foiled.
In a press release signed by the Director Defence Information; Brigadier-General Chris Olukolade ,the leader of the group who had fled Nigeria when the terrorist camps were sacked was reportedly recruiting fresh hands, training them for renewed terrorist activities in Nigeria with the intention of focusing its attacks on some towns around the Nigeria-Niger Republic border.
He further added that intelligence operatives of the multi-national joint task force (MJTF) had been on the trail of the leader until he was eventually arrested in Karanga, Niger Republic with the cooperation of Nigerien forces.
His other accomplices were later picked up in other villages in Nigeria and are currently being interrogated.

Lionel Messi is considered the greatest soccer player in the world.

As a standout striker for La Liga giant Barcelona, the 26-year-old continues to rack up individual honors, most recently winning his fourth Ballon d'Or Award while also being tabbed the 2013 AP Soccer Player of the Year.

While the Camp Nou superstar has certainly been worthy of on-the-pitch publicity, Messi is making headlines once again for something he certainly wants no part of.

Attending a recent party in Las Vegas where he served as guest of honor to host and former Brazilian star Ronaldo, Messi was photographed with a woman who clearly was not his girlfriend Antonella Roccuzzo.

Photos snapped by Argentina's Pronto magazine show Messi with his hands wrapped around the waist of the alleged stripper while staring down her shirt at the Wynn Las Vegas and Encore Resort.

With the publication noting that Messi's relationship with the mother of his 8-month-old son Thiago may be on the rocks, a source close to the magazine said that Roccuzzo is clearly upset with the printed images.

"There is nothing to suggest anything more happened but still Antonella is furious," the source said according to The Mirror. "She can't believe he has been so stupid and feels very let down by Leo. Whether she'll give him the red card or not remains to be seen but it's fair to say the sofa may be getting a lot of use at the moment."

Since learning of the photos' release, the international star has vehemently denied the authenticity of the pictures, saying they were altered by the magazine to sell more copies.

Yahoo Sports also reports that many fans of Barcelona and Leo Messi have come out in support of the player's claims, with many believing that a program such as Photoshop could have been used to make the images of Messi and the 'stripper' real.

When Argentinean magazine Pronto first published the photos this week, fans were outraged by the headlines.

There were further allegations that the snaps had been edited with Adobe Photoshop to sell more copies of the tabloid.

Also showing support for Leo Messi, 101GreatGoals.com showed how Pronto could have altered the photos to make them look as though Messi was nestling up with the blonde Vegas woman.

Multiple pictures previously snapped of Messi hanging out at the party along with past images of the 26-year-old holding his son seem to relate closely to the images used showing Leo Messi and the woman at the party.

Messi and Barcelona are set to take the field on August 2 against Santos as the superstar hopes to put these images -- real or not -- behind him.

A Kenyan socialite, Kenya’s own baad gyal Staciey Brianar aka Pendo has been bragging online, in interviews that she and Davido had a romp when the superstar was in Kenya last weekend.

Though a report from a Kenyan website says Davido had denied knowing who Pendo was in a press briefing while in Kenya, in a telephone chat with another Kenyan website Ghafla.co.ke, Pendo says her story is so true. And that she has proof!

•  Nali: So what is all this wahala about Davido blocking you off of his Facebook?

Pendo : If people had done even a little research, they would Davido does not even have a Facebook account. I NEVER said I was in touch with him through Facebook. I got in touch with him through a good friend of his *redacted*  and that’s where everything started. He did the intro.

• Nali: So, seriously, did you f**k Davido?

And people are talking so much because a lot of women wanted to be in my shoes, but were not. I’m not afraid to go after what I want. That’s just me. And I am unapologetic for it. I am content that I got what I wanted -which was to know him- and I guess it just naturally progressed from there…

• Nali: So was this a one time thing then?

Pendo: No, I would do it again. Gladly. I don’t regret it at all.

Pendo: Davido is not only a good lover but a gentleman. Not only did he not publicise the affair, but he left me with some personal mementos to remember him. I don’t think a one night stand does that. Plus there is still communication going on. I’m not saying we are dating, but we are definitely still talking. He did not “hit it and quit it”.

On reaching the car, the organiser said it wouldn’t be safe coz of the media so David paid for my cab that followed them directly to the hotel located in Hurlingham.
When I got there, he sent his deejay (Olu) to give me his key card to his room as he talked to someone…he escorted me to the room and the rest is self explanatory!!
I’m not like those girls who take pix in bed and all…but I got proof, as he left me some wen he left for his flight early morning.
